Bringing The Flock Together
A key function of the SGA is to unite the various communities and organizations across SU's campus through collaboration and events. Two of our largest annual events, Big Event and I Love Salisbury, bring Sea Gulls together to benefit the local Salisbury community while creating lasting relationships between members of student organizations, alumni, faculty and other campus community members in the spirit of volunteerism. See our annual event highlights below or view
our full calendar of the year's events.
FORUM
Fall & Spring
All Salisbury University community members are welcome, where at least one representative from each of the university's Registered Student Organizations meet to discuss pressing concerns facing the university and collaborate on solutions to improve the welfare and experience of Sea Gulls across campus.
SCHOOL SPIRIT DAYS
Fall & Spring
Nothing is more important for SU students than displaying their Sea Gull Pride! School Spirit Days provide an opportunity for all members of The Flock
to showcase their favorite SU apparel and enter into giveaways for gift cards and more Salisbury SWAG.
RECYCLE MADNESS
Fall and Spring
Sustainability is key for our campus, which is why the SGA encourages students and organizations to collect recyclables throughout the year to give back during our annual recycling competition. Organizations with the heaviest donation totals earn tiered prizes.

CULTURE SHOCK FASHION SHOW
Fall
In a celebration of fashion trends through history and across cultural backgrounds, students and organizations take the stage to model international customary clothing and styles for the diverse campus community to enjoy.
SGAxSOAP RECHARGE
Fall & Spring
At the end of each semester, SGA partners with our Student Organization for Activity Planning (SOAP) to host a pre-finals relaxation event. This includes access to massage chairs, free snacks, book giveaways, make your own essential oils, and more!

INTERNATIONAL DAY
Fall
Take a walk around the world as students and organizations from across campus represent countries and cultures in an event dedicated to celebrating our brother and sister nations with food, crafts and other cultural prizes.
TRAP BINGO
Spring
In honor of Black History Month, the SGA Diversity & Inclusion Committee hosts a Trap Bingo night, where fans of trap music have the opportunity to win BIG! Listen closely to your favorite trap hits, link the lyrics to the numbers, and mark your cards for a chance to win major prizes. Whether you're a bingo pro or just looking for a fun time, Trap Bingo is the perfect mix of competition and celebration.

FUNDRAISERS
Fall & Spring
The SGA coordinates and partners with other on-campus departments and groups throughout the academic year to fundraise and support community members in need through a variety of drives and initiatives for a higher purpose.
BURY BOOK CLUB
Fall
Hosted by our Academic Affairs Committee, students can come discuss all things books! Enjoy a zen environment, free snacks, and possibly find some new reads!

HOUSING FAIRS
Fall & Spring
Partnering with dozens of off-campus housing locations across the Salisbury community, the SGA hosts several Housing Fairs throughout the academic year to assist prospective tenants in finding their perfect residence while attending SU.
